To you, Mother

o you, Mother
who desire the spiritual and apostolic renewal of your sons and daughters
in a response of love and total dedication to Christ,
we confidently address our prayer.
You who have done the will of the Father,
ready in obedience, courageous in poverty, welcoming in fruitful virginity,
obtain from your divine Son that those who have received the gift of following him in the consecrated life
know how to bear witness to him with a transfigured existence,
walking joyfully with all their brothers and sisters,
towards the heavenly homeland and the light that knows no sunset.
