THE LOGO OF OUR GENERAL CHAPTER XVII 2023

We present to you the Logo that will accompany our work, reflections and our chapter meetings. An image to express what words find difficult to define. The LOGO refers to the theme of the 17th General Chapter:

“LED BY THE SPIRIT, LET US REORGANIZE OUR LIFE AS CFMSS IN THE SYNODAL WAY”.

United under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and in the hand of God, and placing the Eucharist at the centre of our life, let us reorganise our life as CFMSS in synodality.

The other particulars are as follows: 

 

  • the DOVE symbolizes the Spirit, who is above everything;
  • the HAND OF GOD is emerging from the dove;
  • OUR HANDS, joined to form the Tau, are differently coloured to indicate interculturality, and are engaged in reorganisation;
  • the OPEN AND NOT CLEARLY DEMARCATED WORLD indicates that reorganisation is an unfinished process;
  • the FRAMES OF THE WORLD indicate a period of construction that is in progress;
  • the EUCHARIST – marked by the inscription IHS – the source of our charism and life as CFMSS, is placed at the centre of the “reorganised” world.
