EDUCATION

Our main apostolate here is school. Though we had only 60 students when we took up the school, now the strength  has gone up to 150. It was only up to class V but we have now up to class VIII. As a whole we find lot of improvement in our staff and the students. We instruct them in the rudiments of health and hygiene.

SOCIO-MEDICAL

Since July 2017, we have another apostolate, which is medical. Even though our dispensary is still under construction, attends people who come to take medicine and seek her advice. It treats people with both allopathic and herbal medicines.

PASTORAL

We visit the families and listen to their problems; we try to help them in their struggles. As a result of visiting the families we found there is an increase in the number of people coming to the Church on Sunday. We also help in preparing for the sacraments and involve in teaching catechism in the church since this year. And people have begun interested in learning catechism and preparing for different sacraments.

We find the people are simple, open and ready to accept us. Most of them are very poor. And we feel we are in the right place according to the desire of our beloved Mother Seraphina. Even though we are yet to master the language, most of us are able to communicate with the people. They are very happy when we speak their language. When we visit the sick, old and our students, they feel happy and are very welcoming. We are happy and joyful to be with the poor and needy.
